
Coffee Kogel Mogel
This retro dessert is making a big comeback, now in a modern version. Coffee kogel mogel made with OVOBOX liquid egg yolk is a creamy delight with a light, energizing note of espresso. Preparation is incredibly simple, and the result is delightful. OVOBOX liquid yolk provide a smooth (and safe) base that just needs to be mixed with sugar and coffee. Ingredients (for 2 servings)
First layer – kogel mogel:
- 150 g OVOBOX liquid egg yolk
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- a few drops of vanilla extract (optional)
Second layer – whipped coffee:
- 3 tablespoons instant coffee
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons hot water
Preparation:
- Beat the OVOBOX liquid egg yolks with sugar and vanilla until you get a light, fluffy kogel mogel – place it at the bottom of a glass.
- Separately, whip the coffee, sugar, and hot water (with a mixer or by hand) until you get a fluffy, creamy mass. Add it on top of the kogel mogel. Done!
