Omelette/Frittata with Bell Pepper and Feta Cheese

Omelette and frittata are classics of quick cuisine – filling, versatile, full of protein and flavor. OVOBOX liquid whole eggs are the perfect base for making them. Frittata tastes great both hot and cold, while an omelette is the perfect idea for a quick breakfast that will give you the right energy to start your day! Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 400 ml OVOBOX liquid whole eggs
  • 1 small onion
  • a small bunch of chives
  • half of a yellow, red, and green bell pepper (or just one color)
  • 50 g feta cheese
  • chili pepper (optional)
  • seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic, Mediterranean herbs

Preparation:

  1. On a cast iron skillet (or any oven-safe pan), sauté the diced onion and bell peppers.
  2. Pour in the OVOBOX liquid whole eggs, season with salt, pepper, and your chosen spices.

  4. Cook for a moment over low heat, then sprinkle with chives and feta cheese.
  5. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 190°C (top and bottom heat). Bake for about 10 minutes, until the mixture is set.
